Orbea Rise SL H20 - The sporty E-Fully made from high-quality aluminium
The new generation of the Orbea Rise is the perfect example of how to make good things even better. In short, there are updates in every nook and cranny. Basically, you can now choose between two Rise series: The SL largely corresponds to the familiar suspension with 140 millimetres of travel at the front and rear (all-round use). The LT series (Long Travel) has been added with 10 or 20 millimetres more travel, i.e. 150 millimetres at the rear and 160 millimetres at the fork (enduro use). You can also choose the battery power: each Rise model is available with either 420 or 630 watt hours. Although the aluminium frame increases the weight of the bike somewhat, it is in no way inferior in terms of build quality and durability. If this endurance is still not enough, a range extender battery with a further 210 watt hours can be docked in place of the water bottle. News also for the drive: the tried-and-tested Shimano EP600 motor is no longer forced to throttle down to 54 Nm, but can develop its full torque of 85 Nm on request. These options make the Rise even more versatile and powerful.

The SL H20 (630 Wh) version of the Rise comes with a large 630 Wh battery as standard, which won't let you down even on long tours. It also comes with high-quality basic equipment with Shimano XT components: The 1 x 12 rear derailleur and the low-maintenance hydraulic 4-piston Shimano Deore disc brakes can be found right up to the professional range. Responsible for the sporty riding characteristics is the highly sensitive suspension with Fox 34 Float AWL suspension fork and a Float Performance shock, also from the legendary Fox forge. Standard OC Mountain Control wheels and a telescopic seatpost complete the setup.

The Shimano EP motors are still among the best e-bike drives on the market. In cooperation with the Spanish premium manufacturer Orbea, the EP600 has been further optimised with special firmware. Thanks to the revised Orbea firmware (RS Gen 2) - recognisable by the red ‘S’ in the RS logo - the drive offers an even more natural riding experience and finer power delivery. In addition, the electronics ensure intelligent control of energy consumption to guarantee high efficiency.

The Orbea Rise with EP600 motor comes as standard in RS mode with a reduced power output of 56 Nm torque - ideal for sporty riders who want to use a lot of their own power and rely on long ranges. However, the new RS+ mode can be activated via the Shimano eTube app, which releases the full torque of 85 Nm. This makes the Rise a powerful support even on steep climbs.

With its robust aluminium housing and a weight of approx. 3.0 kg, the EP600 is designed for durability and reliability. The maximum peak power is 500 W, providing powerful yet controlled assistance. It is particularly suitable for touring and trail riders who value a good balance between power, range and a natural riding experience.
