The FiiO BTR7 is a premium portable Bluetooth amplifier and DAC with several notable features. It supports high-resolution Bluetooth codecs like LDAC, aptX HD, and aptX Adaptive, as well as native DSD256 and PCM 384kHz decoding when used in USB mode.
The device features a 3-level HiFi audio architecture, including high-performance DACs, low-pass filters, and THX amplifiers, which enhance sound quality and dynamics.
It includes a 1.3-inch IPS color display that shows important information such as volume, power, and audio format.
The BTR7 has a balanced 4.4mm output and a single-ended 3.5mm output, providing up to 320mW of power at 32Ω and 235mW at 16Ω.
It also supports wireless and wired charging, with a battery life of around 7-9 hours depending on usage.
The device can be used as a "dongle" by switching into and out of dongle mode with a single click of the charge button.
